Admissions Processing Associate Buffalo
Admissions Processing Associates process all applications, transcripts, test scores and correspondence for new, transfer, re-enrolling and international student applications for undergraduate and graduate admissions. They maintain all admissions records and enter new information on prospective students into Banner. Admissions Processors communicate regularly with students and their families about the Canisius College admissions process. This is a full-time, hourly position reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions Processing.
Adjunct Professor for the Department of Physics Buffalo
The Physics Department at Canisius College is seeding an adjunct instructor for 2020-2021 Academic year to teach University Physics 1 (PHY201) and/or its associated lab (PHY201L). The position(s) requires availability to teach 4 days per week for PHY201 and 1 day per week for PHY201L, along with office hour requirements. These courses are the first semester in the introductory physics sequence taken by science and engineering majors.
Adjunct Professor for Physician Assistant Studies & Diagnostic Medicine Coordinator Buffalo
Canisius College is in the process of developing a Physician Assistant Master’s degree program in pursuit of provisional accreditation. The Diagnostic Coordinator will play an integral role in development of the program curriculum, course design, laboratory design, and community outreach. This is an adjunct faculty position on a team of medical providers and educators working to complete the development of the program followed by regular teaching in the PA program. Faculty in this position will serve as the coordinator of instruction for the Diagnostic Medicine I and II courses.
Adjunct Professor of Environmental Science Buffalo
The Environmental Science Program at Canisius College is seeding an adjunct instructor for 2020-2021 Academic year to teach Introductory Hydrology (ENV 200), Environmental Health (Bio 360) and Introductory Geology (GEOL 120) and its associated lab (GEOL 120L). The position requires availability to teach 2 – 3 days per week, to attend 1-2 faculty meetings per semester, along with office hour requirements. These courses are generally offered once every 2 years, but the specific semesters (fall or spring) and times they are offered is flexible.
Student Service and Development Coordinator for the Wehle School of Business Buffalo
The coordinator reports to the Dean of the Wehle School of Business but directly supports the Associate Dean and the Director of Executive Education & Leadership Development. This position provides student support to new and continuing students and coordinates functions for certificate and executive leadership and development programs. The coordinator works collaboratively with students, faculty, alumni and subject-matter professionals.
Facilities Operations Manager/Safety Coordinator Buffalo
Canisius College is accepting applications for a Facilities Operations Manager/Safety Coordinator. This position coordinates projects including, but not limited to, new construction, renovation/alteration of existing spaces, restacking/relocation of departments/occupants, maintenance of existing building and campus infrastructure and other Facilities related assignments. The Facilities Operations Manager/Safety Coordinator will support college operations by working with the various college constituencies to plan and execute daily work and projects in line with the strategic plan of the college.

Canisius College Public Safety Officers are sworn New York State Peace Officers pursuant to New York Criminal Procedure Law Article 2, Section 2.10-72. Each officer receives law enforcement training which exceeds New York State requirements for Peace Officers. Canisius College Public Safety Officers perform the duties of an armed peace officer which includes making arrests, transporting criminals and providing armed vehicular and foot patrol within jurisdiction.

HVAC/R Technician, Full-Time - City of Buffalo First class Stationary Engineer License and a universal refrigeration certification required. Minimum 5 years’ experience w/operation, maintenance, troubleshooting air conditioning, boilers, pumps, air handling units, pneumatic/digital controls.
